National conference on sustainable mobility, Ljubljana, Slovenia,

The second national conference on sustainable mobility in Slovenia with a kick-off of the European mobility week (EMW) 2018 took place on 14th February 2018 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, under the title »Active mobility makes you happy«.

The opening speech was held by Peter Gašperšič, the Minister of infrastructure. Inspiring lectures in the plenary part were held by Polona Demšar Mitrovič, national EMW coordinator, by Karl Reiter from FGM-AMOR (Graz, Austria) and by both EMW 2017 national winners, Municipality of Krško (Romana Pečnik) and Municipality of Novo mesto (Peter Geršič).

The second part consisted of interactive workshops covering multimodality, transport infrastructure design and green urban logistics. There were 80 attendees from different backgrounds: local EMW coordinators and other representatives from municipalities, experts, representatives from national entities and other actors in the field of planning and promoting sustainable mobility.

The organisers of the conference were the Ministry of Infrastructure, Slovenian platform for sustainable mobility and CIVITAS PROSPERITY project partners.
