Umeå, Sweden 19-21 September 2018

This year's CIVITAS Forum Conference will take place from 19-21 September in Umeå, Sweden. The 16th edition of Europe's premier sustainable mobility event will bring together the CIVITAS community from across the continent and beyond.

Over three days, hundreds of policymakers, city representatives, academics, and practitioners will gather to debate pressing topics surrounding sustainable urban mobility and witness the pioneering solutions bringing cleaner, better transport to Europe.

CIVITAS PROSPERITY will be represented by three excellent speakers in Session 18 on Thursday, 20 September, which addresses the importance of national SUMP policies and their effects.

  1. SUMPs in German Municipalities: Results of an online survey | Martina HERTEL, German Institute of Urban Affairs
  2. Innovative Parking Management | Mladen IVANOV and Garu KAPRELYAN, City of Varna, Bulgaria
  3. Rethinking SUMP for adapting to the national reality: The Bulgarian case | Lucia ILIEVA, CSDCS
  4. Do higher-level support frameworks make better SUMPs? | Patrick AUWERX, Mobiel 21

Apart from these interventions, CIVITAS PROSPERITY will again have a stand at the event to share its most recent work with all participants.
