In connection with the organisation of the local event by the City of Katowice called "International Bicycle Day in Katowice", which took place on Friday, 29th June 2018, representatives of the CIVITAS PROSPERITY partners in Poland had the opportunity to present the information about the project activities of the City of Katowice, SMG Expert (the National Focal Point for Poland) and the Federal Polish Ministry of Infrastructure in this subject.
With its international scope, representatives from Groningen (The Netherlands), the host of next years’ European Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans, Cologne (Germany), Košice (Slovakia), Ostrava (Czech Republic), as well as social and cycling organisations, including a representative of Nextbike Poland, took part.
The event was organised mainly for residents of the city and the region, as well as for cycling NGOs.
