From 09-12 April 2018, the CIVITAS PROSPERITY national SUMP Training for Polish Cities takes place in Katowice. The training was opened by Mr. Sobula, First Deputy Mayor of Katowice, and Ms. Perkuszewska, Head of Innovative and Sustainable Mobility Division of the Federal Ministry of Infrastructure with a presentation about transport policy for urban mobility.
During the four-day training event in Katowice more than 20 trainees receive support in Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans. With the visiting experts the trainees will cover Communication and Stakeholder Involvement, Monitoring and Evaluation, Land Use and Mobility Management in SUMPs and Adopting the SUMP approach for small and medium-sized cities.
